WAMP is a web development platform for Windows and a great tool for any web developer. WAMP is an acronym for Windows, Apache MySQL and PHP. You can download WAMP here.
Click on the download link at the top of the home page. You can download either 32 or 64 bit WampServer. If you are unsure which version you can use, download the 32 bit version.
Run the WampServer executable file. Select the directory you want to install WampServer to and continue with the installation process.
Run WampServer by clicking the shortcut on your desktop, WampManager.exe in your installation path or by right clicking the tool bar icon and selecting “Put Online”.
To verify that WampServer is running, open an internet browser and go to localhost (http://localhost). If the WampServer is running you will see a screen that looks similar to this. If you are having trouble with WampServer starting, you may need to adjust port settings.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed WampServer and are ready to start developing!
